Lucille Snell is an active recitalist and teacher based in Waldorf, Maryland. She founded the Flute Choir of Southern Maryland in 2008 for adult flutists, and the Flute Magic! Flute Camp for flutists 8-18 in 2009.
Lucille retired from The USAF Band in 2008 after 30 years of performing in the Concert Band. She has also performed on the Smithsonian American Art Museum Steinway Series, and with several local orchestras.
Lucille earned a Bachelors in Music Education degree from the University of New Mexico, and a Masters in Music Education from Indiana University. She holds Permanent Professional Certification from Music Teachers National Association, and serves as Treasurer of Music Teachers Association of Charles County. Her students have appeared in Local, State & National Performing Ensembles, and regularly earn Music Scholarhips to college.
