Lisa Kay Morton is a professional singer, pianist, conductor, actor and director. An Equity actor since 19 she also has bachelors degrees in music and theater as well as graduate degrees in conducting and piano literature. She has interned for 3 years in comedy improvisation with Second City in Chicago. She serves as artistic director and opera coach for the International Lyric Academy in Viterbo, Italy.

A master teacher and clinician she promotes, encourages and trains singers across all genres and currently has students from Broadway to the Met. As a singer and pianist, Ms. Morton has performed with leading opera houses in the US and Europe as well as doing extensive concert work with international orchestras including the Pittsburgh Symphony. She has premiered original works by Leonard Bernstein and Samuel Adler. She has also done cabaret and club work as a jazz singer and done a PBS concert of Gershwin music.

As a stage director she has produced and directed over 100 productions and choreographed over a dozen musicals. She is currently on the board of Tantallon Community Players in Ft. Washington, MD. She has written and published 9 musicals and counting.
