"Since the 1970’s my art has been based an interpretive presentation of the American landscape, acknowledging an artistic legacy that spans over one hundred fifty years of American aesthetics. Current work involves painting, sculpture, and works on paper, inspired by where I am and where I have been. My style has been described as both colorist and minimalist. In my art, I seek to produce a simple, subtle, and sublime presentation of the environment and atmosphere of a particular place."
