The Italian "Bomboniere" are keepsakes or party favors made for guests who attend weddings, baptisms, communions, confirmations, and other festivities.
The traditional "Bomboniere" are sugar-coated almonds (also known as Jordan almonds) wrapped in lace, organza, or tulle, with decorative miniature flowers. They are often attached to a simple gift and can be personalized or have the date of the event commemorating the ceremony.
