McDonough’s talented young theatrical group of just about 100 students, under the direction of Mrs. Jana Heyl and technical direction of Mrs. Kim Eggerton, will put on a promising show that is not to be missed! The show will be running November 12 at 7 p.m., November 13 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., and November 14 at 2 p.m. Doors will open to the public 30 minutes prior to show time.
In our interpretation, Alice still enters Wonderland, but through a looking glass rather than a rabbit-hole. It is still the White Rabbit who leads her into a first act with the familiar scenes you know from the Lewis Carroll Classic. There, she meets the Caterpillar and the Cheshire cat, goes to the Mad Tea Party, and participates in the Queen of Heart's Croquet Game. In Act Two, Alice finds herself rushing through the chessboard of Through the Looking Glass as she meets Tweedledee and Tweedledum and dines with the Red and White Queens. Can the characters help Alice finish and become a Queen?
