Bozick Distributors/Coors Light employees manned a tent at our concerts this summer and promoted the raffle to all attendees. “They sold tickets for $5 each or $10/for three, and really did an amazing job promoting the raffle to our concert-goers,” said Vanessa Gill, Development Director. “They also sweetened the pot by donating giveaway items for each concert, including a golf bag, Coors jacket and Coors golf shirt, luggage, and Coors Light neon signs. It was a real success and we have Bozick to thank for that,” said Gill.
Cindy Beakes of Lexington Park was the lucky grand prize winner and works for St. Mary’s County Hospice. Cindy is not only a concert-goer, but has been a member of the museum since 2006. Beakes purchased more than just one ticket hoping to win and was thrilled with the phone call. “We are happy to have such a deserving recipient and look forward to offering this again next season with hopes to raise even more money for the museum,” said Irwin.
The concert series at the Calvert Marine Museum celebrated its 25th year of providing the best names in entertainment to Southern Maryland. “Proceeds from the shows keep our programs going and our doors open, and we have our local community to thank for that,” said Gill. The 2011 concert season will kick off on May 28th with comedian Larry the Cable Guy, with additional shows to be announced.
