Free venue space will be available on Friday nights from April 30th to September 3rd for artists in the Southern Maryland region. A new concert series and farmers' market will be alongside this new artists' market at O'Donnell Lake in Waldorf, near the mall. The concert series is free and the location is near the mall, which allows optimal visibility. Artists are asked to make a commitment to setting up for at least THREE Fridays to help make the market a success. Set-up time will be 2pm. The farmers' market runs from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. The bands play until dusk and artists may keep their booths open until dusk if they wish.
The work you are selling must be of your creation. Not crafts from kits or re-selling of the work of others. This is an attempt to improve cultural activities in the Waldorf area and needs interested artists to participate to make it a success. Interested?
